Bachelor (BBA) in Hospitality Management Degree

Our 3.5, year bachelor degree in hospitality management gives students the skills, knowledge and confidence to manage hospitality businesses and lead a a global career in the hospitality industry and related service sectors. It  begins by teaching professional skills in hands-on hotel management courses before students leave on their first internship. The program continues with hospitality management courses and a second internship, generally at a supervisory or administrative level. As a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Hospitality Management, this program includes one full year of business courses and allows students to choose a specialization (for Switzerland only) in Luxury Brand Management; Real Estate Finance and Revenue Management; and Sales and Marketing. 


Who is it for? Undergraduate students age 17.5 and older.

Bachelor (BBA) in Event & Sport Management Degree

Glion is the only hospitality school in Europe to offer a bachelor degree in Event, Sport and Entertainment (ESE) Management. In addition to event management, this 3.5-year undergraduate degree covers business management concepts and industry trends for three dynamic, international career fields: MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events), sport management, and entertainment. As a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), this program includes one full year of business courses and allows students to choose specializations such as event management, international sport management, or sales and marketing.

The Master's in Hotel Management

The MSc in International Hotel Management will develop your hard-skills for managing  hospitality operations and teams, while also giving you the soft-skills and connections to boost your career in the international hotel industry.

MBA in Hospitality

This MBA in International Hospitality and Service Industries Management will give you the tools and techniques you need to be an effective leader and innovator in the hospitality industry.  The interactive courses taught by experienced faculty members will guide you (and your fellow students from around the world) to solve today's most challenging hospitality and tourism industry dilemmas using critical thinking, research and applied business projects. 


Who is it for?  Designed for graduates with work experience who wish to start their career in international hospitality and service industries management, or take it to the next level.

English Language Program

Our English Language Program is designed to help undergraduate degree candidates to raise their English level to meet the undergraduate admissions standards of Glion Institute of Higher Education. It develops higher education-level writing skills, use of English, speaking skills, listening skills, and reading skills. It includes an introduction to the world of hospitality which teaches students the basic vocabulary and industry concepts through visits and guest speaker presentations.


Who is it for? Undergraduate degree candidates age 17 and up who have an English level of IELTS 4.5 or equivalent.

Summer Program in London & Switzerland

The Glion Summer Academy is a taster program for students who are curious about the world of luxury hospitality and event management. The two-week summer program takes place in London and Switzerland.  It starts off with a week in London where participants will experience the wolrd of five-star luxury tourism on excursions to hotels in London and a tour of Wimbledon. The second week takes participants to Glion's flagship campus and the home of hospitality - Switzerland - for a week of hospitality courses an an event planning project.


Postgraduate Hospitality Diploma

The Postgraduate Diploma in Hospitality Administration  is offered as an exit-point for the MSc in International Hotel Management, it is a 1-year and three-month course that will give you a solid foundation to start a new career in the hospitality industry, and related service sectors. 


Who is it for? Designed for graduates and professionals (not necessarily hospitality-based) who wish to change their career and enter the world of hospitality. Non-degree holders will receive a Professional Development Diploma.

MSc ESE Program

For recent graduates or career changers, this master’s degree develops individuals to become specialists for the international event and leisure industries. Students on the program will be taken through the essentials of planning, managing, and operating events followed by an intense immersion in the various facets of business management. This combination of industry insight and business development ensures that individuals have the potential to enter and fast-track their career in the event, sport and entertainment industries within national or international companies.

MSc Hospitality Finance
