Summer Academy Program

The Glion Summer Academy offers a first-class introduction to the world of luxury hospitality and a taste of  the bachelor degree program with a choice of three holiday courses.


London – one-week course. This week includes field trips to world-renowned hospitality companies including a professional visit to a five-star London establishment and a tour of Wimbledon.
Glion – one-week course.  At our spiritual home and flagship campus in Switzerland, you will learn how to organize an event, visit local attractions, and see first-hand how Swiss chocolate is made.
Combine London and Glion – two-week course. You can choose to do both the week in London and Switzerland for a two-week course, so you can experience hospitality in two countries.

Summer Program Overview


London: 3 - 9 July 2017

Glion: 10-15 July 2017


Students will be accommodated on campus at Glion London, located on the grounds of the University of Roehampton. Situated in South West London just 45 minutes from the West End, this campus offers a multicultural university environment set in 152 hectares of open green spaces and parkland with heritage listed buildings.


London: 3 - 9 July 2017 = GBP 2,000

Glion: 10-15 July 2017 = CHF 2,500 

Combined London and Glion: 3-15 July 2017 = GBP 4,000

Any student who enrolls on a Glion or Les Roches undergraduate degree program after completing the Summer Academy will have the Summer Academy fees deducted from the first semester’s tuition fees.
Bring a friend’ scholarship:  Recommend the Summer Academy program to a friend, and both of you will get a 10% scholarship if you are eligible.

Summer Academy Admissions

Admission Requirements

  • Minimum 16 years old

  • English requirements: TOEFL 450 / Cambridge FCE Grade C/ IELTS 4.5, letter of recommendation from high school faculty on EN level or equivalent

  2. Provide a copy of your English language level certificate. 3. Complete a motivation letter - why do you want to join the Summer Academy?
