Computer Policy

Glion offers computing facilities for teaching and learning in specially equipped laboratories. In addition to these facilities, students will need a personal laptop to access the GIHE intranet website which hosts email accounts, the Student Support Center, documents and other online learning resources.

Please choose a laptop option and read the IT policy before you arrive, it may be updated 8 weeks before the intake, if necessary.

Bring your own Laptop

If you would like to bring your own laptop, then you need to check that it meets all the requirements. We would like to draw your attention to some points and we ask you to use this checklist to prepare your computer for the check-in process.

Make sure you have reviewed this form and that all points are covered before you arrive. Failure to comply can result in delays during the check-in.

IMPORTANT: The institute does NOT provide any software (Windows XP, Office, …)
