The Student Affairs Department has created an informative booklet in your acceptance package called the Pre-Arrival Information. You can download a copy here on the website and we recommend that you read it carefully for the official campus procedures.
If you have requested a special room on your application form and it is available, it will only be reserved for you when the pre-payment of CHF 3,000.00 and the supplementary room fee has been paid.

If you have requested a special room, the Residential Life Department will be informed and you should receive an email confirmation of your room type with the supplementary fee.
Please be advised that standard accommodation is subject to availability. Late applications and late payments may result in an upgrade to special accommodation and the charges associated to this.
For questions concerning a special accommodation, or to specify a roommate preference, please email the Student Affairs Department of your future campus. Please also reply to their emails in a timely manner.
The Swiss buses, metros, and trains run efficiently and can take you anywhere you want to go! Students can purchase a half-fare card to get half-price on all tickets for bus and train.

Students must be formally dressed, in compliance with the requirements of the hospitality industry from Monday to Friday, from 07:00 to 17:30. After 17:30, tie and jacket are not required and students can dress in smart casual, except for students attending classes or if there is a formal event on the campus.
