Glion launches a unique Master of Science in International Hospitality Finance starting in January 2013

Glion Institute of Higher Education is launching a new Master of Science in International Hospitality Finance starting in January 2013. This 1-year degree offers the advantage of a hybrid program, it is divided into six months of on-campus courses and six months of online courses. This structure allows sudents to integrate the workforce while finishing the degree and save on living expenses.

During the program, students will focus on developing  financial decision-making skills and finding  innovative solutions to complex financial challenges which are relevant to the hospitality industry. The maximum enrollment for this new program is 30 students for the first intake in January 2013.

Glion Institute of Higher Education has been successful in placing its graduates in financial positions such as Revenue Manager and Real Estate Investment Analyst in the hospitality industry and other industries as well. “The hospitality business is demanding professionals with strong financial skills grounded in solid academic theory and practice,” said Arie van der Spek, Senior Vice President Laureate Hospitality Education Worldwide. “As a market-driven school, we wanted to respond to this particular need coming from both the industry and our students.”
