Tuition and Fees

Cost of living typically varies slightly every year in Switzerland. To maintain the standards expected from the School, the fees are reviewed each year in August. Applicable prices are only those mentioned in Swiss francs (CHF).

Graduate Programmes:

For the Hospitality and Sports programmes, the following is included with your Tuition and Fees: Tuition, accommodation in a double room, full board (3 meals a day, seven days a week, excluding holiday periods), accident insurance (professional and non professional), some events and facilities (i.e. conferences, leisure and sports activities, library etc.), administration costs, laundry and ironing of professional clothes (kitchen and service), sports outfit, visitor's tax, Cantonal and Communal taxes, administration charges for visa and work permit (excluding where there are legal court charges, if the visa or permit is refused and an appeal is made), administration charges for internship periods, Swiss VAT, membership of the Glion Alumni Association, tutoring (where necessary), industry presentations, career counselling, examiner fees.

This list is not exhaustive and any unused services, meals, clothes, school supplies, benefits, etc. included in the fees are not refundable.

Tuition and fees include standard accommodation in a double room and full board


Other Expenses

We estimate that students require a minimum of CHF. 350.- / 450.- per month to finance their out-of-pocket expenses such as snacks and drinks, entertainment, personal supplies, laundry, etc.

Fees do not include:

Health insurance, books, damage deposit, parking, single accommodation, personal expenses including travel to and from the school and the internship site.

Student Loans for Canadian Students

In Canada, government student assistance, which can include loans, bursaries, and grants, is available for Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and refugees or protected persons with assessed financial need. The federal and provincial/territorial assistance programs are jointly administered through the student's province/territory of residence under the Canada Student Loan Program. Online applications are recommended because they are generally processed quicker then paper applications.
