Glion conducts two intakes, or semester starts, per year*:

  • Late January
  • Mid-August

*There is one exception with the Masters Programmes, which start end of July each year.

Holiday and Mid-Term Break Schedule

Glion students generally experience two main vacation breaks, one in winter and one in summer. During this time, the school is closed.

  • Winter: Early/mid December - Early/mid January
  • Summer: Early June - Mid/end July

Note:
Students carrying out internship placements may have different holiday schedules, depending on employment opportunities and constraints.

In addition, students can enjoy a one-week mid-semester break in October, and one in March or April. During this time, the school and its facilities remain fully operational.
