Project Manager Practical Arts
William comes to Glion Institute of Higher Education with decades of experience in hotels, restaurants and teaching.
He has served as a jury member for numerous professional and academic competitions, taught at a range of institutions and served as a member of various committees. He has Certificates of Proficiency in hotel schools (both CAPET and PLP2), as well as a slew of other qualifications.
William’s career has taken him across the globe. He spent four years working as the Project Manager for Pacific Hotel School, located on the island of Tahiti. While there, he finalised the plans and opening of a new hotel school, recruited teachers and defined educational objectives. He also spent twelve years working for hotel management school Ecole Hôtelière de Bourges, where he was Director of Workshops / Chief of Works. This involved the supervision and management of all teaching teams, coordination of practical lessons and productions, and pedagogical coordination.
His extensive career has also seen him work at École hôtelière de Lausanne as Associate Dean for the Year of Practical Arts, in charge of operational management of the F & B department, recruitment of teachers and collaborators, and the creation of cultural dinners with the teachers. William’s hotel experience has seen him work at a succession of four-star hotels, including the Hotel Sheraton in Paris.
