The Charity Committee, under the presidency of Ismail Khan Afridi, has transformed into a stable, progressive and significant committee in Glion.

A well-organized first month by Ismail and his team brought us a Go-Karting competition where participants enjoyed racing on the Payerne Circuit and the winners were awarded trophies. The following weekend the Academic Centre hosted the first-ever Poker Night: an exclusive evening where nine participants competed to be crowned the Poker King and leave with their chin up and a bottle of champagne as a token of appreciation, presented by the President on behalf of the Charity Committee.

Students are also looking forward to the highly-anticipated FIFA Tournament which is in the pipeline. The venue will be the recreational area in Tissot 1, where 6 TVs and PlayStations will be set up for a fierce competition and the winner earning themselves enviable bragging rights!

Finally, before Christmas, the Charity committee will host The Signature Charity Gala at the exquisite fine dining restaurant on Glion Campus: Bellevue. Guests will enjoy wines from the region and cocktails, followed by a four-course meal prepared by our award-winning chefs.

This semester, Ismail Khan Afridi and Carolina Santos as his Vice President have brought a fresh impetus to the committee, with the support of Malika Keshu as the Finance Manager and Lucie Lambert as the Secretary-General.

We hope for the very best for the Charity Committee and congratulate them on their achievements so far!
