Daily Life
in Bulle

The municipality of Bulle is surrounded by rolling hillsides, picturesque villages and productive farmland, with the region offering superb leisure options all year round.

Discover more about life at Bulle campus and get a taste for how our students spend their free time.

Committees & Clubs

Glion students drive their own extracurricular experience through a wide variety of committees dedicated to  sports, wine, arts, charity, and more.

The Student Government Association (SGA) is elected to represent our student community. Its primary role is to:

  • Ensure students’ voices are heard
  • Organize committees and events
  • Foster leadership development

The Local Area

Bulle is a blend of the old and the new, with a historic old town that sits comfortably alongside modern retail, leisure and residential developments.

A highly compact and walkable place to live and study, Bulle offers plenty of downtime options close to campus. And for slightly longer journeys many students choose to step onto one of the town’s fleet of electric scooters.

A place to meet

Bulle regularly stages folk markets, livestock fairs, salons, exhibitions, theaters, concerts and shows which attract a very diverse public audience. The annual Christmas Market is also a highlight

    Alien action

The walled medieval town of Gruyères is worth a visit in its own right, but for sci-fi fans the must-see attraction is a museum and bar dedicated to the work of the artist HR Giger (Alien)

    Chocoholics welcome!

A visit to the Maison Cailler chocolate museum in nearby Broc is perfect for those with a sweet tooth. There are even workshops to create your own chocolates!
