As the birthplace of the modern hospitality industry – and the home of numerous world-class luxury brands – Switzerland is the best place in the world to study these unique industries.
The country is safe, well-organized, and also highly cosmopolitan, with four languages spoken and cultural influences from neighbours France, Germany, Italy and Austria.
English is the official language of teaching and communication at Glion. However, with around 100 nationalities across our campuses you will hear a wide variety of languages spoken outside of the classroom.
You’ll also develop exceptional intercultural fluency from encounters with classmates representing all regions of the world.
As an alpine country, Switzerland is famous for its skiing, with the same mountains also attracting hikers and mountain bikers in the summer months.

I never feel lonely here and I am always happy to share my best experiences with Glion people.

Everything we’re studying here is fundamental to my future career, especially the leadership management programs that teach both academic and soft skills.

My class was almost all from different nationalities.

From A to Z, I was taught how to create and manage a successful start-up, with supportive guest lecturers always available to provide guidance and advice.

As for Switzerland, it has its own unique vibe, kind and helpful people, beautiful landscapes, several official languages and, of course, an incredible location. I’m a keen traveler and I love being able to visit other countries within 20 minutes by car.
