Academic & Research Board implements, monitors and reviews the academic, research and student experience of Glion Institute of Higher Education and takes responsibility for the achievement of Glion’s educational philosophies and plans. The board is the principal academic, research and student experience body of Glion Institute of Higher Education.
The board advises the Leadership Committee, and through the Academic and Student Experience Standing Committee of the Governing Board, on pedagogical matters relating to teaching and learning, scholarship and research, and student experience within Glion Institute of Higher Education. The board and its respective committees develop, implement and review academic policies and consider proposals for development and renewal of academic programs and courses in addition to research and student experience progress and opportunities. The board works closely with the Leadership Committee and the Governing Board to ensure that Glion’s higher educational programs, curriculum design, and academic outcomes are of the highest quality and that the Leadership Committee has the data and analysis necessary for evidence-driven resource allocation decisions in academic, research and student experience areas.
