Our Research Faculty lead Glion’s strategic research agenda through applied research, scholarly publications, industry collaboration and research-informed teaching. They contribute to the development of knowledge that addresses contemporary challenges across luxury hospitality,  service industries and business.

The Research Council is an international advisory body comprising distinguished academics and industry experts. It provides independent strategic advice on the development of Glion’s research agenda, supports research quality and contributes to strengthening the institution’s academic profile and international collaborations.

Through its diverse expertise, the Council helps ensure that Glion’s research remains relevant, forward-looking and responsive to emerging developments within higher education, luxury hospitality and related service industries.

Research activities are supported through institutional governance that promotes academic rigour, strategic alignment and continuous quality enhancement. The Research Committee provides oversight of Glion’s research strategy, supports the development of the research portfolio and fosters the integration of research with education, innovation and industry engagement.

Working in collaboration with the Research Council, the Committee helps identify emerging research opportunities, strengthen academic partnerships and ensure that research activities contribute to Glion’s institutional mission and long-term strategic objectives.

Research projects are conducted in accordance with Glion’s quality assurance processes and recognised principles of responsible and ethical research.
