The Hospitality Business Summer Program is an ideal way to discover the realm of international hospitality and events management in a program that combines fun with learning.

Summer Program Options

Choose the summer experience that suits you best, from a one-week deep dive in either London or Glion to a two-week journey across both. Each program offers hands-on learning, industry visits, and a taste of life at a top hospitality school.

The Summer Program takes you to the birthplace of hospitality – Switzerland. Here you will learn hands-on hospitality skills in kitchen, service and rooms divisions, and visit local attractions.

Bachelor’s degree offer

After completion, any student who enrolls in a Glion or Les Roches undergraduate degree program will have the Summer Program fee deducted from the first semester’s tuition fees.

Entry requirements

Age
Students must be over the age of 15, and under the age of 18 years old at the start of the program.

Valid Passport
Students must hold a valid passport. Nationals of any country can apply and follow the process for obtaining a visa for Switzerland, if required.

Health Insurance
Students must have a valid health insurance for the location of their chosen Hospitality Business Summer Program.

Letter of Motivation or Recommendation
Students are recommended to write a short letter of motivation or to request a letter of recommendation from a high school teacher or education counselor.

English Language Qualification
If English is not your first language, or if you have not spent the last two years studying in a school where English is the primary language of instruction, please enclose a copy of one of the following:

  • International English Language Test (IELTS): 4.5
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): 450
  • First Cambridge Exam: Grade C
  • A letter of recommendation from a high school teacher could also be considered
